An option to show Calendar events only in calendar view and not in the day view in the Schedule

Currently, Google calendar events are shown both in the tasks column and in the daily calendar view when in the Schedule tab. It seems reduntant and clutters the tasks area. It would be great to have an option to remove the calendar events from the tasks area.
