Direct Messaging with Guests
It would be great to have to ability to create direct messages with guests, instead of just team members.
This would allow me to speak to clients privately through Upbase and not have to rely on Slack. (I don't particularly want to add them as a member)

Would be amazing if you could send messages to external contacts who aren't in upbase, and have replies tracked as message replies in the Upbase Messages module. Most of our clients don't want to create an account or log into yet another system; they prefer to work with us over email. Ideally we could start a discussion thread in upbase and specify their email address, then have replies they send to emails synced into upbase.

Agreed! This is necessary when a message between a member and a guest is not for everyone. It's odd that this is not allowed as it makes direct communication with guests on this platform more challenging.
