I suggest a closer alignment to the keyboard shortcuts used by Google Workspace. They have managed to maintain a relatively consistent experience for the main functions across different web applications. That's something that Upbase can leverage for better UX.
Especially as projects/workflows become more complex over time, search becomes an essential and central feature. There ought to be an extremely simple way to invoke the search interface. Google uses the time-honoured / (slash) key to quickly move the cursor to the search bar. I see that this keybinding has already been taken in Upbase to "Go to Today". To do this in Google Calendar, one can press the T key.
For users who often switch between Google Workspace and Upbase, this would make for a more consistent user experience. The existing keyboard shortcuts have not existed for a long time, so it seems to me that the long-term gain for users will be far greater than the (short-term) cost.
