Google Drive Permissions for embedding

Currently it appears that it's only possible to embed Google Drive items, documents, etc, by setting the sharing to "Anyone with the link". This means anybody who happens upon the link to a potentially sensitive document would be able to see all content. Further, in order to edit from within Upbase, I would need to set the permission to "Anyone with the Link" can "Edit" which is just a terrible idea.

It would be ideal to be able to add the folders and documents so they maintain their private status.
