Having the option to show/hide items in the sidebar will resolve the issues. We will consider it. Thanks for your suggestion.

I'd rather see my task lists at the top of the sidebar. It would be nice to be able to toggle the bookmarks functionality on/off in settings.

I agree with Seb. Bookmarks are a feature I don't care much for. All the links I need tend to be project-specific and can be contained within a doc or I use natively in my browser. But I get the usefulness of it for some people, so having the option to hide it would be nice.

Managing bookmarks is something that will change your view of it.
This is one of the main features that will be developed as part of the Chrome Extension.
There is not much of this functionality yet, but there will be.
