Request to add [SHIFT]+❓ keyboard shortcut - with handy instructions, list of shortcuts. (Just like in Gmail)
Opening without leaving the window on the layer.

Keyboard shortcut for adding a Task to the List
But the text cursor should land in the Search Field so that you can immediately enter the list name from the keyboard ⌨️

[L] is already taken…

Maybe replace [L] Links with [U] or [X]
and [L] for Lists

It would be nice to have the [SPACE] shortcut when hovering on subtasks, not just main tasks.
