move dates from their deadlines to the actual completion date automatically on google calendar

I like knowing when I completed my tasks, this is useful for writing things like accomplishment reports. When I look at Google Calendar I only see the tasks on the deadlines they are set on. Deadlines are only useful before they come and I wish ticking a task as complete would make them automatically get moved on the day they get completed.
