Option to hide tasks with extended due dates from daily schedule

When tasks have start and end dates, they appear every day in the daily planner during that range. This is good, but when there are several they can end up cluttering the daily schedule. I often find there are several of these tasks I know I won't get to today, and so I would like a way to hide them for the rest of that day.
