Private Automated Reminders

Again I'm an avid BaseCamp user and BaseCamp gets this right. In BaseCamp there is a feature called "Automatic Check-ins" (is private by default i.e. only allowing access to our team). Here can can set automated reminders to request an update from each staff member on the particular project. In our case we set this to go out on a Friday to each staff member at 3pm - this requests feedback on what work was completed during this week. And also what work they will be doing next week.

On a Monday morning the Project Manager will use this private feedback to create a new discussion that they share with the client, giving a short update / report on work done last week and work to be done the coming week. This system works perfect with clients ALWAYS informed and kept in the loop. We've never had a client every reaching out to ask us what's happening with the project.
