Antwan is the problem still ongoing? The new recurring task version is negatively impacting the performance of the Weekly and Monthly calendar views. We acknowledge the issue and have plans to address it soon.

Tony Pham: Yep, still ongoing. Shortly after my initial post it seemed to go a lot better with the responsiveness of the app. But now the repeating tasks in the weekly overview are shown instanteneously when switching weeks, the non-repeating tasks appear onscreen about 8 seconds later.

Any development on this? The slow response times of every action in the calendar makes the app nearly impossible to use for me.

I am experiencing performance/response issues, what actually interrupts flow.
It would be really nice, if an European region would be opened too, routing the European traffic to it, and let us interact with that servers (or replicas).
I would say, if only the read operations are coming from Europe, that would be already a big improvement, the write still could go to the original place.

Even a response time like Ping gives a lot, but it would be useful to have a system that would automatically monitor it.
