Stop notifying me of my own chats

It's an annoying little thing that is very distracting. When I post a chat to someone or all in a channel, you present that little notification in the tab. This is great when others are posting a response or new chat, but I don't need a notification that I posted.

After posting, I can move back to my project then look up and see the notification stop what I'm doing and go check the notifications only to find that the system is notifying me of my own chat not an actual response. The result, I'm off track and distracted and now must go get coffee or protein bar then hopefully I'll get back to my project.

It's a small thing but it's annoying and unnecessary.
