Tag search and addition functionality overall

I'm in the process of building out a full plan, and the existing tag functionality is annoying. I'm grateful that we can add tags in line and add multiple tags without having to exit the tag window, however, when adding new tags, it would be great if instead of closing the tag window forcing you to then go into the tag window again and then search for the newly created tag, add the tag to the task and then close the window. As for adding multiple tags, especially when using the search functionality, clear the search so you can start typing the next tag instead of having to delete the text each time. I know there's the "X" there to do that, but there are so many additional actions involved, especially when building a plan with multiple tags required per task.
