🤖AI: Clients

When you focus on customer service in Upbase right now … We collect various customer data: tasks, notes, comments, conversations, files about a given customer, etc. It would be good to use this data by AI-powered as part of working with and servicing customers. It's difficult to work without it in a world where we are inundated with information. It's also now standard to use AI to process such collected data in task management systems, CRMs, etc. (e.g., Taskade, Pipedrive, Raynet offer this in their cheapest plans). This data can be better utilized with AI support. So the tool becomes a helper. Responding to customer inquiries, summarizing collected data, creating offers in the context of already collected customer data, etc.

👥Clients Communication

It would be great to be able to 📨send to customer emails directly from the customer card in Clients. This would streamline workflow; you wouldn't have to switch to Gmail or another email program. Additional Issues: 📨Sending Emails It would be great if these emails ultimately originated from your own SMTP server, which could be connected to Upbase. Or at least you could connect your own domain to it, just like mailing systems do. You add the appropriate configuration in your DNS and SPF, authorizing Upbase to send emails on your behalf, using your domain or a dedicated subdomain. 📥Receiving Emails It would be great if, when replying to a RE, the customer also forwarded the email to Upbase. This way, you wouldn't have to track it in your email program. I know, this would require integration with, for example, Gmail or IMAP. But initially, the response could go directly to Upbase.

Add Notes to Left Navigation Panel

Current Behavior: Upbase offers two note-taking experiences within a Base: Notepad A general, single-page scratchpad accessible via the upper-right Actions Menu (alongside New Task, New Doc, New Link) Daily/Weekly Notes—Time-based, structured note entries with a convoluted access path (see below) The Problem: Accessing Daily/Weekly Notes is Unreasonably Difficult To view your Daily or Weekly Notes, the current workflow requires: Navigate to the Schedule Module Click into Weekly or Daily view *(not intuitive—these views are calendar-focused, not note-focused) Locate a tiny "Show All Notes" icon to finally view your notes This is a buried, multi-step process for a feature that should be instantly accessible. Notes are, by nature, quick-capture tools. The current UX undermines their purpose entirely. Requested Enhancement: Add a "Notes" item to the Left Navigation Panel, alongside the existing primary navigation items (Schedule View, Clients, Spotlight, My Tasks, Reports, Chat). Provides: Direct access to Daily & Weekly Notes A consolidated "All Notes" view Ability to create a new note directly from this section Expected Benefit: This change transforms a frustrating, hidden feature into an intuitive Upbase experience—matching how users naturally expect to interact with notes.

Expanded Embed Functionality in Docs

Current Behavior: The embed feature in Upbase Docs currently only accepts URL links. When a link is provided, Upbase generates the embed preview automatically. Requested Enhancement: Allow users to paste custom iframe code (or HTML embed snippets) directly into Docs, in addition to the existing link-based embed option. Use Case / Justification: Many third-party applications provide embed functionality via iframe code rather than simple URLs. Examples include: Interactive dashboards (e.g., Zoho Analytics, Tableau, Google Data Studio) Custom internal tools and widgets Form builders (e.g., Zoho Forms, Typeform) Calendars, booking tools, and scheduling widgets Video players with custom parameters App-specific embeds that don't resolve from a plain URL Currently, there is no way to leverage these iframe-based embeds within Upbase Docs, limiting integration flexibility with external tools. Proposed Solution: Add an option within the embed feature that allows users to: Paste raw

URGENT Clients Request Web Audio Player for Docs, Files, Tasks etc

Very urgent request to the Upbase Team, My Clients are in desperate need of native Audio Playback in Upbase Web. It's been very limiting and counterintuitive to download an uploaded audio file just to listen to playback. Attached to this message I have a screenshot of what an audio player in Upbase could look like. For the example provided, I had to find an HTML 5 iFrame widget audio player and embed to Docs but this is absolutely not the way it should be done user-end side, it's just for demonstration purposes. I've even used the Upbase Color Hex to match the Upbase branding color with the audio player's waveform accent color. Please consider my request Urgent. It has unfortunately caused many problems with my clients. and work. I have tried contacting and reaching out about this for well over a year. This would also be perfect to coincide with the new Clients Management features. Clients must be able to upload and access audio files natively in Upbase. FLAC, WAV, MP3, etc, audio files need to be supported. Thank you for taking the time to hear my request, I hope to hear from anyone in the Upbase Team.
